TiER1 Performance Solutions, a Northern Kentucky-based business consulting firm, will acquire Indianapolis workplace training development company 1st Class Solutions in a deal that will close June 1. The company declined to disclose the financial terms of the acquisition. Indianapolis joins Denver, Pittsburgh and Chicago on the list of cities with a TiER1 location. The company currently has 125 employees across four markets. The Indianapolis office will retain all of its employees as well as former 1st Class president Karen Zwick, who will now serve as principal consultant and learning strategist for TiER1 in Indianapolis. The company has not yet selected an Indianapolis office space. TiER1 was included on the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies and was awarded among the Courier’s Best Places to Work in 2014. The Covington-based consulting firm that helps companies teach employees to develop skills and implement change recently donated $1 million worth of services to help workers cope with mental illness. First Class Solutions, Inc., an information technology and healthcare consulting company, provides consulting services for health information management (HIM) environments in the United States. Tier 1 Performance Solutions, LLC offers organizational effectiveness, strategic change, and corporate learning solutions.

Capita plc (UK) acquired Pervasive Networks Ltd. (UK)
